Just to clear up any sort of possible confusion, there is no DX division this Comp. It will happen next time. People are still bringing up DX so I wasn't sure if everyone got the message.

This is a comp to determined the best step artist for a single chart, not a "marathon", if you wanna call it that.

Sorry but no. This isn't exactly the comp for that. You can set-up an unofficial comp for that if you want.

Just for clarification; is it ok to submit a revision to your file after the initial submission? I ask because I'm going to be moving in about a week from then until the deadline (at least), during which I may or may not have internet access, and it'd be nice to be able to submit before I leave while still having the option to revise if I catch something off before the deadline.

Whatever I have at the deadline is what I'm assuming is your file. You can send revisions, or even a brand new file if you want.

Hmm... I haven't made a stepfile in literally a year. My last few files were pretty decent, though... Maybe I'll give this a shot.

EDIT: Turns out a song I was iffy about choosing is A LOT more steppable than I had originally thought.

Question about the "last step" thing for the time limit: if the last step was a hold, would you be counting the start of that hold or the end of it for when you stop your timer?

I think I have my file chosen for this Definitely still needs a bunch of touchups but I think I have a good shot of doing well this year. Unfortunately you'll guess it's me immediately OH WELL

Also just wondering, we don't have to be extra meticulous with our sync I hope right (like last year I'd assume if it's not that noticeable it'll be fine)? My file's kinda iffy in that regard though it mostly seems on-sync AFAIK.

That would be an accurate assumption. And yes I am making an effort to keep it as dead on as I can.
I'm just wondering if sync is gonna have more weight in ranking than in previous years. I'm assuming not, but can't hurt to ask.
