technomotion

Postby EZA on Sat Jun 09, 2012 11:56 pm

HAS anyone ever played this, I remember a while back when I was really little and first started goin to arcades they had this in the back but got rid of it really when DDR extreme first came out. I never played it before (I wasent into music games at the time, only pac man, donky kong, and pinball) and I really wanna try it now since I look back at it.

I'm planning on building a 9-panel technomotion-style pad so I can try it out, since SM5 has support for it.

This is the laziest layout ever, but this is the gist of it.

With a border of some kind, obviously.

technomotion doubles

you'd need like a wide wide widescreen to see all the receptors XD

or just squish them all together i guess

I'm not the one who did that. Besides, technomotion doesn't have a 9-panel mode.

God I hate extra panels. 4 per mat is plenty.

I hate looking like a dumbass on PIU as I make awkward steps due to arrows being place in grooving stupid direction that make no grooving sense.

Then DDR 2010 is a whiny little bitch that adds 6 arrows BECAUSE THEY ENJOY COCK and using ITG style timing windows BECAUSE THEY KNOW ITG WAS FAR SUPERIOR oh and don't get me started on how easy a AAA is to obtain. HEY KONAMI STOP BEING A grooving BABY AND ADMIT OTHER PEOPLE CAN MAKE A BETTER DANCING GAME THAN YOU!

Also anyone who thinks PIU isn't fun needs to slap themselves.

You realize DDR 2010 was originally intended to feature a 1-pad/8-panel mode, right? The dreaded ghettomotion Octo-move. Wasn't aware they'd put in 6-panel though, I'll have to look into that
