Does anyone know the general process of what goes on if convicted of possession of marijuana? Court stuff, etc. Jail time is an obvious given, more or less looking for everything outside of that.

EDIT: Yep, you can actually get 6 months for possession of any amount, possession of over 4 oz is considered a felony, and larger scale drug possession is apparantly worse than rape or murder according to Texas

conclusion: you're pretty fucked

edit2: wait never mind it seems that if you've not had a felony conviction before you can get probation and mandatory treatment in lieu of prison, which surprises me considering it's Texas

If it doesn't concern you then you don't have to post. If you have over 4oz on you at a time, then you probably need to get a real job/hobby anyway. I've only talked to one person who's been caught with a shit ton of weed and the cop took all of the money from his wallet, and threw the weed all over the ground or in the trash or something. Had about 300 dollars I think, hahaha.
