If this is for a USB Flash Drive for ITG to read, you can't have the songs themselves with in another folder in the Songs folder. Meaning it can't be like:

In The Groove 2 > Songs > "Some Pack Name Here" > Songs you actually want to play.

Gotta make sure it's:

In The Groove 2 > Songs > Songs you actually wanna play

And the fact you might have 41 songs on your USB might be an issue, the game could only read so many at a time.

Screenshots aren't really that big of a deal. The pictures aren't that huge.

41 is a lot of songs though. Try removing a couple. The file size of some of the Dragonforce and Kamelot songs might not be helping much either.

Regardless, choose about 20 of them that you like and see if anything changes.

Maximum is 5 MB on flash drives, so that might be your issue.

if you try and play anything over 5mb, the machine will refuse to play it, period. The only way to play songs over 5mb is have them on the machine already, so having them on your usb is absolutely pointless.

Also, the song limit is hardcoded to be 50 from memory, so anything more than that and you'll start noticing missing songs.
Further, the machines use USB 1.1 AFAIK so have slower read rates, and can't always pull all the data off the USB drive within the timeout period (which I think is 10 seconds?)

Having smaller file names only .sm and .ogg files in the folders (no banners, videos, dwi files) can help, as well as having a high speed usb stick, and ideally as minimal as possible data on the stick can help with transfer speeds.

Why you taking pope seriously?

Now for your flash problems, I would really consider removing a few songs. Whether the machine can actually play over 5mb songs (which is impossible unless you have oITG iirc) doesn't matter; it still takes a hell lot longer to load them than regular songs. After like 5 or 10 seconds it's just going to stop loading period.
Either that or get a better flash drive, preferably a fast one. You can find a decent one for about $17 or so.
Yoshi is better than Mario and you know it's true.
