I really hope this is temporary. I still wanted to order another CF. That and they were so friendly when FedEx was being stupid when I ordered my replacement decals. I have someone I can buy a CF from, but if this is the end of the Cobalt Flux, I will be very sad.

From what I've heard from a local dancegames store, mass production of metal pads have been stopped entirely because the market for it would be quite dead.

Looks like it is not temporary. Guess anyone who wants a CF will have to find it some other way.

Looks like if you want decent metal pads you'll have to spend like around $800 now (last I checked).

Well failing all else, the usual 'links in sig' thing applies, hah.
At least if you build one you can stick arcade sensors in it.

And basically home play is all about soft pads now... So if you're designing stepcharts for home play the lower difficulty will be more important than the expert charts...

So what are our options for buying metal dance pads now that Cobalt Flux is out of the picture? I wonder what happened to their stock of pads (if there were any)? At least these shops I know from Europe:

The best part about the bottom link in your sig, is seeing hellrazor banned as the first response.
