Hey guysss, need opinions here.

I have LIFTS atm and i like them a lot. good weight, feel nice.

but im starting to see what people mean by 'grip problem' with them. they're very girppy. i use talcom powder then half way through harder/faster songs (like even just 170) they just start gripping again.

the faster the song is the MORE grippy they get. obv this is really shit. because it means the faster it is the harder it is.

anyway to the point.

ideas of light shoes with a little support that dont get grippy. i dont particularly like tappers, they're too light for me.

Lack of grip is the problem with LIFTs, unless you mean LIFTs 2.

Just got a pair of Air Monarch IV's.

They feel a bit heavier than my pumas were, but they will probably be fine since I'm only doing like 8's 9's and 10's.

down here in australia they re-launched the 790s. you can buy them in a fair few shops.

if they're the same or different im not 100% sure but if they're still called 790s, i cant imagine they would have made that much of a change to them. perhaps you could pick up a pair online?

I got rid of mine and got these:

New Balance Minimus Trail.

They're basically what replaced the 790s and I like them a lot.

I have used my Mizuno Wave Universe 3's for a year now, and they are working out fantastically. Still in good shape and still going strong.

Lol, i play in skate shoes...
Same with a few of my other friends.
Only problem with these is that they heat up fast as hell and then i literally stick to the pad
Keeps me from passing 13s and up. Got the stamina because these things weigh like 12 oz a shoe, so im used to the excessive weight. ive tried frees but they feel like crap. thank god i read this thread, almost bought running shoes...
now im gonna buy me some trail shoes

using nike mayflys at the moment, so light. i used to use nike free 7.0s, which i loved, then i wore em down and got nike free 5.0s, which i thought were awesome until i tried other shoes.
