Colons in a song title?

Postby MdX MaxX on Sun Mar 20, 2011 2:59 pm

I want to step a song called "4:51 PM (CST Mix)." Of course, in an SM file, the colon does its own thing, so all that shows up in game is "4." Is there any way to get a colon into a song title? Or must I use another symbol?

Response: None that I've seen. Just use an alternative like a period or something, or no punctuation at all.

There is probably a code for it, just as there are for other special characters. (For example, "Kitsune¬≤" in the .sm doc will give you "Kitsune²" in the game.) Unfortunately I don't know any other such codes or where to find a list of them. If nobody here knows, try this question in AIJ's Technical subforum.
