And if you ask why it won't be an issue, it's because Blazing has been appointed as a new admin of this site! I don't think there is any other member that is as universally loved, admired, and helpful to all members of the site (and its admins!), all without even making that many files. Blazing was there to help way back in the day when I forgot to add blank index files to certain folders, messed up a few pixels in some graphic, and he even somehow managed to fizzle flame wars with his Blazing touch, all without even being a mod at that point. He has never caused any sort of problem, in fact always quite the opposite, and is one of the most level-headed members of this community. As a mod, even I have to tip my hat to Blazing's masterful diplomatic skills. He has used every power given to him responsibly and to its utmost, and I know he will do the same as an admin as well.
It's a first in r21freak history too, having another site admin in addition to myself and the ever less and less present ixtli. However, with me being in Japan and having a real job, in addition to no longer having any access to r21 machines or home pads, it was a necessary thing to do. Of course, it was my intention to add Blazing before I left for Japan, but due to the site dying, it was literally impossible. However, it was also completely thanks to Blazing that the site is back up and running now, as he gave me the information I needed to fix it. This has only boosted my confidence in his ability, both with technical stuff and running things smoothly, creatively and honestly.
That being said of course, I have no intention of leaving the site. I will still be here, nearly every day, checking on things and making sure everything is running smoothly, and I will be here in February to pay the bill. I won't be playing any of the r21's being produced, but I still think the people that make them and the community that enjoys them are awesome, and I don't see how that could ever change. So if you ever have any problems with the site or have any questions or anything, feel free to come to me still, but Blazing will also be there to help you too, and I won't be offended at all if you ask him first
So let's all congratulate Blazing on one of the biggest promotions this site has seen yet! I think we are all excited to see his personal touch added to the site and see how it changes it, and we all also know that, no matter what, it will be a change for the better. Congratulations Blazing! You have truly earned this position.
