2. Somebody Select a Good song for the battle
3. A WEEK for step it
4. FOTW Helpers judge the simfile. (if they dont want to do, so People judge)

Obviously the first battle would be "mute vs. PaTriCK", and somebody has to select the song

This could be cool if done right. And could increase the variety around the place.

Wow, what started as a joke in the JY is actually a pretty good idea. This sounds fun; I'd love to compete or help submit songs for people to step.

Anybody is welcome to challenge me Patrick , but not this week! Way too busy this week, but next week would be fine.

I can take time over a given weekend to judge whatever people send in.

Could be a good idea to make a bracket tournament of this if you can get 8, or even 16 decent step artists to participate :] That way if 8 people participate thats 7 battles/songs (14 stepcharts )
Winner would be the BS Champion

yeah I've had this idea before

1. stepmen enter the competition. to enter you must submit a song and it should be something that you, personally, would like to step or see stepped.
2. knockout style tournament: every round stepmen are paired off randomly, and then assigned a song that neither of them picked. if you work it out you'll have n entrants and n-1 pairings, so you'll have enough songs for everyone

This sounds pretty fun. I'd do it. But I really hope Patrick has some decent organizational skills so he can run this well.

well right now it's not tournament style, it's just I could come up and say 'hey XXX I want to battle you' and that gets organized and resolved and that's pretty easy to do

perhaps people could just challenge at random, a song is chosen from a bank of submitted songs that neither of them have submitted.

each stepman carries its own record according to the judges' decision. this way, people can challenge according to records.

ex:

standings:

1.Revolver (8-1-0)
2.Patashu (6-3-0)
3.Kommisar (6-2-1)
4.Zarkonis (5-4-0)


So i know that if i want to move up, i'd have to challenge patashu. could work as a sort of league of legendary stepmen.

for this to work though you would need a set of judges that are often available and have a point system that's unbiased. everything would be given to the judges with the simfile artists anonymous of course, except the one receiving the files.
