Basically we didn't have great contact during his challenge, so I wasn't able to get crucial updates from him or subsequently give advice (for instance, I'd give him a mission on Wednesday for the weekend and not talk to him again until the following Tuesday, when I'd learn that he'd either eschewed his mission or something had changed/gone wrong that could have been dealt with if I had been informed/mootz had taken the initiative). Another contributing factor was his bad case of approach anxiety, which I didn't have enough time to coach him through, causing mootz to assume his target was flirting with him and everyone else and that she wasn't into him. When he didn't follow through with my suggestions, she eventually lost interest and he jumped to the conclusion that she never liked him at all. Essentially he pussied out, which provides an important lesson for any future challengers: If you become the pussy, you can't expect to beat the pussy -- in trying you'll only end up beating yourself.

And I see this thread has become the 'brag about girls you don't actually get' thread. Props to Phaiyte for littering the last couple pages with almost unreadably stupid fronts.

In mostly unrelated news, I finally followed through with a promised booty call two nights ago and realized once again that sex is a major turn off for me. When she's going down all's well, but after several minutes of actual grooving I die and need to be sucked back to life. Probably I'm gay or out of practice.

I think actually most people want to get with girls they actually like, and there can't be an unlimited number of those floating around. I usually give out target-unspecific flirting assignments or number challenges to help build a challenger's esteem; that way, when he's ready for the girl he's had his eye on, he's learned lots and doesn't stumble.
