How to add songs into ITG2 R21 ?

Hi guys...
Well, I have now r21 on my ITG2 near of my house, some people added custom songs into it.
I tryed, but I dunno why, when it's loading into the ITG2, it says "Error mount songs".
I think it's because the way I put em into my USB...

So i tryed 2 different ways to put the songs in it.
(Ex: G:/In the groove2/songs/ (All my songs here)).
(Ex. G:/Songs/ (all my songs here)).

Both times didnt work and I don't know why.
I thought it was the same way as the Stepmania...

Your flash drive is too powerful for the card readers. I suggest buying the cheapest flash drive possible, uninstalling U3, and trying that out. I've had a few cards that have given me a card mount error.

Oh.. I didn't knew I had to uninstall U3 for that.. Maybe that's why It wasnt working.

And for the folder.
In the groove 2/Songs/ (Then my songs only)
or
In the groove 2 /Songs/ (My name's folder)/ (then my songs)

What you want to do is:

In The Groove 2/Songs/Song folder/.sm and .ogg

If you were to just put sm's and ogg's in the Songs folder itself, nothing would load.

No no, haha. I'll give another example then.

In the groove 2/Songs/Mei's songs/(Fly high),(So deep),(Etc)
Every songs has a folder too anyway.

In that case

X:\In The Groove 2\Songs\So Deep\So Deep.ogg and So Deep.sm
and
X:\In The Groove 2\Songs\Fly High\Fly High.ogg and Fly High.sm
the .ogg and .sm can be named anything, but the .ogg has to correspond to whatever is INSIDE the .sm (open it up in notepad)

Err, that Mei's Songs folder shouldn't exist. You can't split them up like that, they ALL have to go into Songs.

Alright so :
In the groove 2/songs/(Fly high)/sm. fly high, .ogg fly high.

Well, why the songs that people added had a name folder ?
Ex: Theres a [L33T pack] you can go into, and theres all his songs ?
Theres about 8 differents packs that he added with a different name on it.

If I only do In the groove 2/Songs/ etc. Where are they going to be ?

And I've changed my USB because someone told me that the one I had, had U3 on it.. (Scandisk Cruizer 2GB) <-- Shit.
So I've changed for one that doesn't contain one. I hope it's going to work... (Lexar Jumpdrive Firefly 4GB)

ITG tend to not like 4 gig+ cards. Just google a U3 uninstaller.

And the way you are talking about is for SM or OITG, it's different on R21.

Yeah, we tryed everything, me and the dude from the arcades.
U3 uninstaller, and we also did something else i don't really remember, but it still wasnt working.
And the arcade game it's the ITG2 r21, if i didnt tell before.

And the new USB I have says theres no U3 in it, and I check and it suppose to be alright.
We also found a website in roxxor, that says the USB card that works into the ITG2 for that actually.
Says that the one that I bought suppose to work.

Well, I hope it's going to work.

Try restarting the machine (bottom left behind the machine should be a switch, turn it off for ~5 seconds, then turn it back on).

Yeah, a simple machine restart can do the trick sometimes. Especially if the machine has been on for an extended period of time, it will eventually refuse to read any cards. This is a universal problem for r21 (or r23).

I went tonight to try my new USB card and it worked !!!!!!!!!!
Yayy, the only thing is when I remove the USB, the songs doesnt stay in the arcade...
And when we are in the menu while looking for a song, we don't hear the preview ?

And my other question is, why we can't play songs longer than 120 seconds ?
Because the other dude that added songs into it, theres a lot longer than that, and they stay in the arcade..
So i was wondering if you can help me on that.
