well, welcome to the site! Hope you do well in the comp (you'll probably end up beating everyone else), post 10 times for your first r21freak surprise, etc. etc.

I've still been looking for a good song. -_-; Perhaps I should go the orangelove route and appeal to the judges... ;) har har.

you should enter too, ur last file was great :)
I really want to, I just don't know if I'll get around to it. I'm a procrastinator when it comes to writing simfiles. I do, however, have a file started that may just go towards this comp. Who knows. I guess we'll see.
Edit:I realized the file I had in mind was gonna be too easy and there wasn't a whole lot I could do with it so I started another file. I pretty much got it all stepped (minus the arrow placement. Sometimes I will lay down arrows on the beats but not worry about where I place them until I have all the arrows done, then I'll go back and re-arrange the whole chart.)and then I realized that it was really repetitive. I'm probably gonna find a new song to step, if I don't find a (good enough) song to step then I'll probably submit the repetitive one. Thanks for listening to me vent, Virtually Emotionless.
I'm just grooving around, but seriously, it is kinda frustrating. >:(

That's pretty much the exact opposite of what I do.

I do roughly 3-6 measures at a time, and just listen to each section and add steps that I think fit accordingly. I also try to keep the same idea through a song, if the chorus repeats or something, then I just do the same rhythms, with different patterns.

I rarely record live. It doesn't seem to be accurate enough.

And I dontlike to put beats down ahead of time, because I forget that I just put them in as place holders, and end up with a whole song of left-right stream. lol

Same here, though it's a bad idea for me because then I could've just used the time I took placing beats to just go ahead and start stepping the song. I think it just gives me another way to procrastinate and say I did something.

I've made some. I have a pack in Packs of Files, though pretty much everything in it is old and not as good as my newer unreleased stuff.

Oh yeah, and Casino Park from the Scholarship Comp is mine. Yeah, the one with the awesome gimmick that no one understands :lol:

I had the PERFECT song, but I remember telling ICNH about it before the comp even started ;_;

I have a few more songs lined up, so it's cool
