Feature Requests!

If anyone has any feature requests or ideas about developing the forum application itself, lemme know here.

edit: When i say 'the forum application' i mean phpBB2 itself. This is not the place to request a new forum or to request that existing forums be organized differently.

One thing I would like to request is a full blown Wizzywig text editor, cause this one sucks.

I mean srsly it doesn't even have text alignment or justification or tabbed indenting!

A good example is the one TGA's site has, but needs to be a bit cleaner in code if possible. That is one thing I need implemented in my website too.

Add a Questions catagory in "Other." I know you've got a Discussion catagory up, but a questions thread would be more specific and probably more generally appreciated. Also, it would fit more with the theme of r21, helping the site to not get sidetracked and become another general ITG site (unless, of course, that's what you guys were going for). By Questions catagory, I mean a place where users can ask things about r21 problems and the like.

It's just a suggestion. You all can flame me now.

Yeah, but this way it's more specific, and since you're limited to the concept of r21 as opposed to all of In The Groove, I think that you should orient your site accordingly.

I see what you're saying. It's not a bad idea, but I'm not too sure about it. Having JUST r21 discussion is kind of iffy. We'll see how it goes.

Okay, I just got a great idea.
PICTURE GALLERIES.
If the bandwidth is limited, you could have it be just like 5 or 10 photos per user, but it would be cool if each user could have a gallery to show, say, a picture of themselves or their all-time best records. Which is another thing: r21 Accomplishments Thread! That way, people could show & tell what they're proud of regarding r21 Arcade play, or r21 File Creation. I'll go start that thread up, you should sticky it.

PICTURE GALLERIES.

I actually had to remove some bits in the default theme that would have allowed me to more easily implement a picture gallery because bad programming in the template lead to an incompatibility with images used as links. I'll add this to my list of things to do, however since i'm 80% sure i've seen it implemented on other phpbb forums.

Cool. It would be neat to have a link telling you what users are in each forum, too - maybe a scroll-over effect?
