Postby Xynn on Fri Jan 02, 2009 9:54 pm

every time i make a new simfile, its always perfectly on-beat on my stepmania, but when i take it to the arcade it gets off sync by just a little. its very discouraging, does anyone know how to fix this? or is my stepmania just off??

No, you have to adjust your global offset.

You can do it in game also, which should be easier. You do it by holding in shift and hitting either F11 or F12 until it is in synch. That moves the global offset in increments of .020. You can hold in alt while holding shift and it will move in .001 increments. You can also autosynch machine by hitting F6 twice in game. Then go play with autosynch on until it's synched properly.
