If everybody is on board, I could start a thread for this in the next week. 20 files? We just need a theme. All can submit and I could ask like 3 or 4 people to sign up to help "coordinate" this and the group could choose the 20 best collectively? Or should I just put no cap on the amount of content.

We would obviously go through a revision stage with feedback given to the step artists and leaving it up to them to change it. If anybody needs help cutting songs, leave it experienced cutters. I don't want to have syncing issues that could be easily avoided.

So yeah, just go ahead and respond to this and I'll get the ball rolling.

- How much files will everybody be able to submit? I'd say put a cap at like 2-3 (not 1 because sometimes people submit a file that is far below what they are capable of and I don't want people to be stuck with that as their submission)
- I'll do full difficulties; not for everything because that would be annoying goddamn but for a bunch of files
- Who should we use as the judges? I'd say the judging panel from Comp VI would work fine but I'd understand if they feel burned out and don't want to touch dance game files for a while

I would say 2 at most. If people submit two very solid files, I don't want them to overshadow a chance to show people what our up and comers can bring to the table.

I don't think we should go with Comp VI judges. That doesn't mean they can't ask to judge, but that's a completely different project. If any of the four express any interest in coordinating this with me (aka being one of the judges), they are more than welcome to. I'm really just looking for people who are active and are willing to communicate with me. I can't have people tied down with a lot of obligations. (This is no offense to Terry and Rik, because both of you are rockstars with how much effort you put into Comp VI while beasting school. This is more of an issue with Blazing).

I will probably whip up some full difficulty charts for my two submissions as well. I'm going to request that everybody do the same, but it is not an obligation.

I think you weren't around here yet when r21BiB was in development, but I think you'll like the way the packs are created here. When a new pack is started, people can signup. After that is done, a subforum for only those who signed up will be on, where the whole pack is coördinated. It's really the best thing to do in my opinion.
