Hey, if they can present a last-minute PowerPoint on sex in videogames by naming of statistics off rape in Japan, then you can do this.

I can also upload videos that I took if you want to get a peek at how the panels work. I think r21freak is a lot more qualified as a panel than a lot of the other panels were. XD

Seriously. You can go over all the different parts of r21freak; from the staff files, to the member section, to the junkyard (for lots of lulz and don't worry because some panels swore a ridiculous amount and had questionable content). I think that it would be seriously amazing.

Well, in order for it to be somewhat legit, they should at least discuss a little bit about StepMania/ITG/stepfiles and rhetoric and stuff, and how that ties into the site. Basically you have one hour, you can explain what a stepfile is and THEN goof around. And then get people to join. Actually, in some panels they had gimmicks where they used the audience for their own YouTube series, making us do silly things like the wave and mock expressions and such. Maybe you could run a live site event at the end, putting r21freak contestants live on webcams and then having the audience bombard them with trivia questions, and the members who answers the most correctly gets a prize? It would be taped live, of course. For the audience's prize, you can hand out r21freak shirts/stickers/some sort of swag to spread the word..

actually, that's a lot how the Monkey Island panel went. They took audience suggestions for dialogue (they were making a scene for us as an example) and found 'voice actors' to pretend to be LeChuck and Guybrush, had them record a few voice samples, and then the animator/choreographer/sound guy put it all together while the rest of the panel was talking about game design and their experiences. Then they showed us the brand new scene!

so it would be cool I think to have a multi-layered presentation, in that people will be talking while one person is making a stepfile on the projector screen, and if you don't want to watch that you can just listen to the talk or something.

when I get ahold of the videos I'll have actual evidence to provide rather than my confusing explanations. >>;

Haha, I think that would be kind of cool (especially the creating of a stepfile - or part of a stepfle - live from songs that the audience wants and them playing them right afterward), but I not only have absolutely no idea how to go about setting something like that up, I also have zero time to plan something like that right now. I mean, I haven't even seen this thread until today

But yeah, I'd love to see videos of what other people did, and some actual information about setting up a booth there and whatnot would be cool.

I WOULD go to this thing if the r21 freak household gets a booth (hell, maybe I could even be the one making the simfile). It would be a great chance to meet everybody
