this has its pros and cons I guess

the original thing about r21freak is that it had that emphasis on certain people's works and maintained the popularity of single releases which we all know is dead as fuc in stepmania these days (if your file isn't in a pack then nobody will ever play it basically).

at the same time, it is pretty elitist and gives off sort of an oligarchic point of view on how staff see "good" simfiles. it's something they keyboard community took years to get over.

Thus I haven't released anything since August 2010 because I no longer release files individually, and my progress on my (two so far) upcoming packs are really slow... Just as progress on my master's thesis was very slow too (but it's 99.5% complete now)...
