I have a dedicab that has a shot motherboard and I can't find a original replacement and having troubles figuring out another solution. I don't know if I can just buy a new(er) type mobo similar to this one and plug and play. Thanks in advance
You could always get an old PC capable of running OpenITG or SM5 and install Concubidated's ITGpro2, which is what I'm using for my temporary machine. It supports input from the original arcade pads I think.
I was thinking about that route but the only issue is, is that I don't own the machine its for the arcade I fix things at. I'm also about 90% sure the owner of the place wouldn't want to waste that much money on the machine. Just need the cheapest fix possible.
Ah... Not sure, in that case. A replacement motherboard could work, as long as you could find a motherboard with similar specs. Just keep the security dongle, hard drive, and everything and make sure you hook it all up correctly to the new one
