Best ITG Shoes? (Specs Inside)

I might get myself some GOOD OL' AMURCAN PUMA H-STREETS. By AMURCAN, I mean it's colored white, red and blue.

Got my pair of those H Streets a couple weeks ago. I played in them twice so far and they're grooving awesome shoes. Definitely my favorite ITG shoes that I've played in so far.

I think the Kosmos are pretty much the same as the H-Streets

This is very very very NOT true. Kosmos LOOK like H-Streets, but they are nothing like them at all. H-Streets are 4 ounces, where as the Kosmos are like 4 pounds. lol They're made to have the track shoe look, but they're built like just regular casual shoes.

If you can't find H-Streets on ebay (which would be weird because there are plenty) go for Puma Saloh's. They're still not quite as light as H-Streets, but at 6 ounces they come pretty close. The soles are also much more dense and not as bouncy, which is unfortunate.

I just got my New Balance MT101s in the mail today; they're basically the current "successor" to the 790s. I like the feel of them so far but haven't been able to play in them yet (they came after I'd already left to go play). I'll post how I like playing in them later. They feel a lot like 790s to wear.

Whats the least expensive shoe that's good for ITG?

Happy Feet plays in socks and he does well. I know a few other guys who also play in socks. It'll hurt your feet at first, but once they toughen up a bit, it's not bad.

I would play in socks but I play at an arcade. Pretty sure I would get kicked out for that.

I probably will do that once I finish building my own machine though.

I really don't think they'd kick you out. They might ask you to put your shoes on, but that's it. Most arcades won't even do that.

I play in socks and nobody cares. Hopefully we'll switch to flat screws on the pads soon so it feels a little better.

YOU PLAY WITH SOCKS ON A NON-FLAT SCREW PAD!? God your feet must be bleeding after every round. Unfortunately for me, if i do end up playing in socks i could pass dragonforce songs (no srsly i've done it) but my feet just say groove this i'm done after each round so i have to do lower end stuff to form up callisus (spelling help here please) on my heels. That way i can continue to play without shoes and start doing some crazy stuff like the rest of ya'll.

I use to play barefoot a lot too. It became obvious though that I would never pass Welcome to Rainbow barefoot without injuring myself somehow, so I started wearing shoes.

The shoes I have right now are some Asics gel shoes. I forgot which ones specifically, but they are incredibly comfortable and as far as I've seen do a pretty good job on 13's and the like.

How do these feel for footspeed stuff? They look really nice; I'm thinking of returning my new shoes I just got and getting these.

they're pretty meh, 790s and tapers are both way better from my experience

Hey guysss, need opinions here.

I have LIFTS atm and i like them a lot. good weight, feel nice.

but im starting to see what people mean by 'grip problem' with them. they're very girppy. i use talcom powder then half way through harder/faster songs (like even just 170) they just start gripping again.

the faster the song is the MORE grippy they get. obv this is really shit. because it means the faster it is the harder it is.

anyway to the point.

ideas of light shoes with a little support that dont get grippy. i dont particularly like tappers, they're too light for me.
