Hahaha, Sal, Pakachu, and I all waited 2 hours earlier. XD

2 hours in the pre-reg line? On a Thursday?

Damn, that's some mad penis. Well, I'm ready for the worst. Last year I waited in the normal registration line for just over 3 hours in the usual 90+ degree weather. :D

Wish I could have made it to this :( I've been once, and it was awesome.

The notes in that section are neither 12ths at 180 bpm nor 16ths at 180 bpm, but they are a lot lot closer to 16ths at 180 bpm than 12ths.

Oh man, I only waited about 25 minutes in the pre reg line, which is beyond awesome. Everything's been awesome so far. Met up with Derkomai in the game room a few times. And saw "Oh! My Zombie Mermaid." Looking forward to saturday! Catch you all when i get back sunday :)

Also, posting from my PSP is awkward D:

Yeah, it was awesome formally meeting you, dude. We definitely gotta chill more during the con. You're also a lot shorter than I imagined.

This con was so much fun. The schedule wasn't great (mostly due to nothing good showing in the video rooms and some uninteresting musical guests) but meeting up with people and doing cool stuff definitely made up for it. Also, not being broke helped. Derkomai, Sal, Pakachu, and I all chilled Saturday evening, which was pretty awesome. I also met Hair (Miles) apparently, but didn't realize it was him until later. After watching/playing IIDX in the game room, Derkomai, Pakachu, and I went to a pretty hilarious hentai panel, and then this panel about "con horror stories" (most of which were hardly horrific). Good times.

The dealer's room was okay. I got some cool stuff--some haruhi figures (I'm actually getting back into Haruhiism thanks to the second season, haha), DJ MAX Black Square (I would've just downloaded it, but my PSP firmware is 5.02, which is apparently a bitch to downgrade), some artbooks, a few dvds for things I've been meaning to watch for a while, a couple shirts, and some other random things.

The game room was pretty good. It was my first time trying out DJ Dao controllers. They were pretty cool, but I couldn't really pass any 8s or 9s because of how different it felt. The scratch is pretty far from the keys--a good inch and a half, I'd say. Also, the scratch went out on the left side controller some time saturday, haha. The DDR set up was nothing surprising; two cobalt flux set ups with DDR X on two and Supernova 2 on the other, if I remember correctly. Oh, and there were two actual PIU machines there, too; NXA and Protocol. Shame I'm not really a 5 panel guy. Apparently there will be two ITG machines (well, upgraded Technomotion cabs) in the game room next year, so I'm mildly excited for that.

Also, I got to play some Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, which is really fun. Turns out someone in my hotel room actually had it and his Wii with him, so we played it a bunch Saturday evening. I'm trying to get somewhat decent with Morrigan and Saki. They had Blazblue, but the lines were long and I didn't feel like waiting very much. But yeah, I liked the game room this year.

So yeah, this con was a lot of fun. Next up for me: Anime USA!

Sweet Jesus, such beautifully crafted paragraphs. ^ THIS IS A GOOD POST ^ one could learn something from this.

If they have the upgrades next year, then I'll definitely be going :D I just need to find a way to save up enough money to make the con worth while. Too bad it's hella hard to get a hotel room when you're 10 years old :( or 16

Whoops, I almost forgot about that! Here we go:

This con probably marks the last of my 5.0 megapixel camera days. My camera and I have had some great times together--heck, we've probably hit up ten conventions together--but I think it's about time to upgrade. Of course, I'll keep him around, just in case I ever want to revisit 5 mp goodness! :P

Gabe is crazy. He's really good at ITG and Pop'n, too.
