Going to PAX? (Seattle, WA)

It's almost time for the Penny Arcade Convention! Home to tons of game-related reviews, merchandise and free give-aways, webcomic talks from the creators of Penny Arcade itself, and even a tabletops gaming building. It is always filled with so many things to do, that you can't fit them all into one day! Also live band concerts from Freezepop, and nerdcore rappers such as MC Frontalot (*AHEM*HE WAS IN ITG*AHEM*).

It runs September 4th-6th, which is a Friday, Saturday and a Sunday (Labor Day Weekend). If you want to go, I strongly recommend you buy convention tickets and possibly hotel registrations as soon as possible.

I also went last year, and it was such a blast. It's very fun, I reaaaally recommend it. I might be able to give a ride to someone coming from California if you want to go.

It's only $50 for a 3-day pass, which is a phenomenal deal. Please don't pass this up!

Double-post for waaaah no one wants to go this year either. :'(
Also, there is an arcade literally right across the street. No ITG, but they have like three versions of DDR (including Supernova and some Extreme mix, I believe), and a Pop'n 14 (?) machine. You get kicked out at 10 P.M. if you're under 21 for casino/bar nights. There are also gaming rooms at the convention hall where you can rent a PS3, Xbox or Wii and some games and play with friends. Yepyep. And there's StarCraft and Guitar Hero and Magic: The Gathering and all sorts of crap. Meh, whatevs.

I will! Last time I was kinda sketchy about it, but I might be writing articles this time... The company my mom got a media pass for last year (Flying Lab Software, they made Pirates of the Burning Sea) said I could write up some stuff to post online for them, but I never did. >>; I think I might try it this year though, see if I get recognized for any writing skills.

Being a game journalist would be awesome.

and I'll get lots of swag.

Does anyone want a Penny Arcade or Mega64 shirt? (assuming mega64's there this year again) if you check pennyarcadeexpo.com, you can check the list of all the companies that are gonna be there this year (tell me what you want swag from!).
