Unless you're dancing around on the pad on the title screen and/or hitting random menu buttons you should be fine, lol. The probability of accidentally doing a bunch of candles even while grooving around is pretty low.

Except one of them is "left, right, left, right", which is exactly what I do when I'm trying to decide between two songs that are next to each other. Or even when I'm just talking to someone, and trying to minimize machine noise so I can hear them.
