oITG keeps on putting me at P2

I use my USB on oITG and it put it on Player 1 side like it was suppose to.

Then one day every time I put my USB in it puts me on the player 2 side? Why? Nothing in my settings has changed. I don't get what's going on?

What should my settings look like for memory cards?

I know that this happened to the machine that I play on. We never bothered to figure out why it happened.

Lol I'm sorry I didn't specify.

I'm playing oITG on my laptop. Both USB ports link to player 2. They didn't used to.

In your openITG/Data folder, open Static.ini and review these:

#MemoryCardOsMountPointP1=m:/
#MemoryCardOsMountPointP2=n:/

The letter should match the same letter as the drive when you plug it in, something else may be plugged in (or mounted), that's stealing the P1 drive letter and so when you plug your card in, the drive letter matches P2's side instead.

If that's the case, easiest remedy is to just change the drive letter in Static.ini

Does your USB drive keep mapping to the same drive letter, then? If not, just make sure the drives are set up like Jayce said.

Alternatively, you could use USBDLM to set things up so that each USB port always maps to a specific drive letter. That's what we had to do for our local oITG machine.

Oddly my USB key now goes to the F drive which it never used to do.....whatever problem solved.
