DDR/ITG PC Pads

Postby smile.mk2 on Fri Mar 02, 2012 11:43 pm

I know we have already had this topic up before, but I can't seem to find it via the search results for the life of me.
Could anyone tell me what metal ddr/itg pads are reliable to purchase and play at home. (2-3hours a day @ 11/12foot songs)
I was kind of hoping to buy something still in production or has warranty.
Thanks for the help everyone! ^_^"

Yeah good luck. Most of the good pads are out of business (BlueShark, Afterburner, Cobalt Flux, etc.), and DDRGame's pads suck compared to those ones.

Alternatively you could also build your own pad (in b4 8ftmetalhead); tedious, depending on your hardware knowledge, but definitely worth it IMO.

DDRgames pads are that bad? >_<!!!
I was trying to get an inpact pad from positive gaming, but they have the worst customer service in existence.
(Seriously, a week to answer a voicemail message/email and only answers when provoked. -_-)

I have no skill to build one and I just really want to purchase something I can use and will live longer then the afterburner.
(2 months -_-)

Anyone else, HELP? Please!

Try looking on ebay, I'm sure someone is selling something good.

At best, they just get the job and nothing more really.
So yeah if you're looking for quality you'll have to scour eBay or something until you find a good pad.

well besides buying an arcade machine it's basically the best option. Getting a DDR game pad would be insane for people like me, when shipping n shit would triple or more the cost of the bloody thing.

At which point I might as well build one myself, pay someone to build one for me, or buy a machine.

But we don't have machines for sale often over here, what with there being one or two arcade chains and they never sell old games. (they use them, hah)

So, anyone want to build a pad & I'll purchase it from said person? (Cost of materials + shipping + labour)

At least it means that spambots can ctrl+c now. We're coming ever closer to Skynet.

so judging by this topic,
http://www.ddrgame.com/dance-dance-revo ... rcade.html

i guess it would be safe to assume this pad is a piece of crap then and not worth the money?

At this point yeah. You can try scouring around for used CF's and such, though even that's growing thin now.
