How to add songs into ITG2 R21 ?

a) The point of a usb is to play songs off of your card and your card only. From what you're saying, it seems like someone has hacked your machine and put on songs prior to this. Songs from your card do not stay on the machine after you play, they load off your usb and only "appear" when you have loaded it for a round.

b) Songs loaded off a usb do not play music previews, this is just the way r21/r23 was made.

c) In order to play songs longer than 120 seconds, you will need to use the OggLengthPatch, which "tricks" the machine into thinking your ogg is 1:45 when it really isn't.

I highly recommend you read everything here, seeing as how nearly all of your questions were answered in it.

Last question, how accurate is the calories meter ?
Because with my USB card, i've seen that at the end of the 3 songs, it's loading, and then they show off how many calories you lost and other stuff...
Like, they can't know how much you weight and how tall you are ?
Because, I've made about 3-4 games, I play Expert about 10-11 foot difficulty, and it says I lost 1251 calories, it's insane, don't you think ?

It can't be made to be accurate, really. It depends on how you're playing; you might be jumping and kicking all over the place, you might be rocking your feet back and forth. You might be stressing and sweating over some patterns that are too hard for you, you might be leisurely breezing through an evenly distributed chart.

With the Offlengthpatch, I can play songs with my USB that are longer than 120 seconds, right ?
Just need to take the file .OGG and put it onto the file OGGlengthpatch, right ? (Then something is popin' for half a second and that's it ?)

Oh and, if there anyone that knows what happenned with the website of Over the frail dream ? (OTFD)
I deleted my stepmania like a idiot a year ago, and now I can't find the website anymore...
I loved the song winter from Bond, can't find it anywhere, and the version that OTFD made..

I found some songs from bemanistyle.com that have a sm file and a mp3, so I took a converter, to convert mp3 to .ogg, but after I did that, I try it in my Stepmania, and we don't hear the song....
Is it because I did something wrong ? Because theres a lot of song I wanna play into itg2, but I gotta change the mp3's in .ogg, and seem not to work..
Can you help me with this ?

What converter did you use? I've never encountered this problem, nor have I heard of anyone who did. I (and many many other ITG players) use a free program called Audacity to convert mp3s to ogg format. I highly recommend it. Like I said, it's free. Just Google it.

You may have to open up the .sm file in a text editor and just make sure that the #MUSIC line names the .ogg file correctly. I'm pretty sure that SM/ITG is meant to check the folder anyway, but it's generally safer to make it explicit.

I just downloaded Audacity.
I took my mp3, and I converted into .ogg, and after I just keep in my file (.sm and .ogg) Like, I replaced the mp3 file for the new .ogg, and when I try it in Stepmania it' still not working.
I can play the song, but I can't hear anything.
I don't get it.

Do what Conman said. After converting the .mp3 to .ogg, open up the .sm file and find the reference to the music file and make sure that it references an ogg file.

If you have fast load turned on, change the name of the song folder, or else it will not reload the new .sm.

It still doesn't work.
When I put the .ogg in the sound editor, I hear it.
But in the Stepmania, nothing.
I went also into the editor to see if it would work, and it says that theres no songs into the file.
I changed the name of the file for .ogg at the end..

Maybe theres something I forgot. It's weird.

Change the name of the folder. It could be "How to save a life 2" or anything else

try that and re-open stepmania.
