I think the thing that throws me off the most is switching between songs that have an early offset preference and a late offset prefrence. I can't get a good feeling/consistency sometimes, cause ill be in the groove of feeling songs a certain way, and have it totally changed with a few ms offsets the next song, but still be on beat with the song.

And that's why you need to figure out how to sync files to your own liking. It's a pain in the neck to have to check everyone's files that you download, but at least the nature of the game allows you to take charge of the syncing.

Aye, i've pretty much got it down to sync I like if I bother to check em before I try em out in the arcade. But If I DL a pack w/o its like Arrrggh blasphemy matey!! loll. Like I've noticed with your files about a month and a half ago I like em .03ms difference, but that's just my preference. Took my a while to realize that there was a early and late offset preferences though.

Out of curiosity, do you like your offsets 3 ms later or 3 ms earlier than what my files usually are? As I stated previously, I do sync stuff 3 ms later than I used to; so right now, Mute Sims 3 & 4 have the old earlier offsets and the newly revised Mute Sims 1 & 2 are synced a bit later.

I agree with your "3ms later", because Really i felt your sync earlier. Now They are more confortable. :D

I go with 3ms earlier, or steps coming up sooner. So like on Rainbow Tylenol I actually prefer the offset 1.291 instead of 1.288

Weird. You've gotta be the first person to say that my offsets aren't early enough!

Well, aside from you of course. I know you like your stuff on the early side; if I don't change your file offsets, I generally get a lot of late excellents.

Ok?

I'm just telling you that your Rainbow Tylenol was/is 2-3 ms later than you use/used to sync and I had to resync it. There's no need for getting back at me.

I'm not quite sure why you took that as an attack, but it wasn't. I was just stating that you sync your stuff earlier than I sync my files, as an example of how syncing is subjective and people have different preferences. No biggie.
