Seriously. When I sync files like this they're dead on at the arcade and pretty off sync on my computer. Which is why I use 4 for stepping, keeping the offset at the -0.012 and a 3.95 installation that has a global offset for my hardware that makes files on sync for just at home keyboard playing.

I am a ddreamstudio fanboy. Not only does it show you the wave formations, it also has a wave filter that levels off and shows you the exact location of the beat, accurate to .001 sec. With multiple BPM songs, it allows you to drag beats around and drop them on 4th notes (that's how I synced Era).

With ddreamstudio, I also figured out how to cut songs (in as many pieces as I want) perfectly to .001 sec. Just ask Joe#2 about my randomly acquired audio cutting skills  If anyone is interested, I will write a little guide to show you how to do this.

BTW, you guys will see a ridiculously ridiculous audio cutting improvement in my next pack. All hail ddream.

I second this. I use DDReam for all of my wave-form syncing and cutting.

Good for you guys. I don't need DDReam to cut audio flawlessly or sync perfectly.

Lol, ddreamstudio shows that all of you songs (in your last pack) are about +.011 ahead of the music. I'll post some screenshots later if you want me to.

Most of my charts are about +0.011 ahead of the music? Hmmm, you don't say. I wonder why that would be...

Big newsflash guys: my simfiles are all about eleven milliseconds ahead of the music and that clearly illustrates that I have no idea what I'm talking about and all of my simfiles are offsync and that's why nobody can FA them.

Joe flagged ILLY because several sections drift due to Hideki Nakanuma's terrible audio editing skills.

As I said, Chris. Don't. His files are fine. His syncing method works fine and I've use the on the beat-on the second trick a couple times as well to an extent.

Yeah I sync a few milliseconds ahead of the music, and if I'm not mistaken, flash and mandodo do aswell.

It's just a good way to sync files because pretty much everyone hit's a tad early.

Pray tell, is your global offset at 0.000 or -0.001 by any chance? Because if so, that's exactly the reason why ;).
