I'm personally not very picky about the actual arrow, just as long as it resembles an actual arrow, haha. The main preference I think though, would be to make the colors of each arrow uniform depending on what note it is (4th notes be red or blue, 8th notes be yellow or green, just as a rough example), instead of it cycling through the colors continuously like a rainbow.
