So how is the mlp board going to be different?

-Increase in ponies/horses
-Decrease in cats, foxes, and wolves (Rarity's cat isn't enough to make up the deficit)

There won't be any change in the number of scalies (you can thank gummy and spike for that one) Either way, is there really a difference when it comes to the overall social acceptability of bronies or furries? Because as far as I can tell the answer is no. I've met "mentally deficient" people in both categories

Well there's some new admin on the random board that severely limited (whatever was left) of their freedom there. and now /mlp/ seems like a refuge for people.

Also /mlp/ doesn't allow porn. There's no fun in that.
