Why do you think that? mute is just as obnoxious as me on these boards. It's not like the moment you get the staff title you're supposed to post with a stick up your ass. Also I'm only dramatic in the junkyard.
It's not like I would go around locking threads and flaming everyone.
I'm a coordinator of an international ITG tournament and I've been stepping for a couple years. I'm well known, and I'm well experienced in various leadership roles. My qualifications speak for themselves. If I need to highlight them for you, please allow me to do so. My contributions other than simfiles include thorough critiques and reviews, syncing other people's work correctly, participating in competitions and collaborations, along with starting a lot of great threads that help steppers improve their craft (Rhetoric thread for approach comes to mind here)
If posters feel that my forward approach to criticism and my blunt opinions in the junkyard disqualify me from a staff position, that would really suck. I would hope that my pros far outweigh my cons.
I would hope that if not this time, I do get a staff position in the future. I've done more than enough hard work towards this community to deserve it, and will continue regardless of the outcome :], but I think the only thing holding me back is how recent my activity is. I was a AIJ poster for the most part (I guess I still am). I will continue to post and contribute here until ITG is dead (what am I talking about, it already is)
I really hope joe#2 and Spooty get it if not me, but I also don't want to feel like there will be any Ingroup bias going around. I know you guys are all Skype crew and stuff and I think it's nice to have variety on the staff list (or any moderator position on a forum), which is why I suggest myself and Pope as well. Although we're both friends with most of the staff members, I think we're kind of in our own thing rather than the Skype Crew. :]
