The first time I ever bought any I spend like 1400 at a men's warehouse.
After measuring me I ended up with 2 suits that were 6+ inches too large for me!!

I didn't realize that until I got a 3rd and noticed how much better it fit. (and comfortable it was)

Mungyodance scale is easy. Just multiply the ITG scale rating by 10, randomize the last digit, then flip a coin and if it's heads you bring it down a dozen or two just to throw people off.

Some weird, inconsistent rating that allegedly went from 1-20, though the highest they went in DDR X (the first to use it) was 18. X2 had a 19, which I keyboard worse than I do on 19 from this site. Sakura Storm was rated a 14, though it's probably a really easy 10 (it's been a while since I've played it). Vanessa was a 16, but I'd call it an 11 maybe. I think the 18s from DDR X (and somebody point out if I'm wrong) were the X-Specials, which were new difficulties for some of their classic songs. ie. Max 300 X-Special was Max 300 with slightly more complex patterns and was all crossovers/twists/switches/doublesteps. It's not comprehensible and it's best if you don't try to understand it.

In most cases, this is a good approximation. But Konmai is very well at rating things

Yeah, that's kind of the general rule. It's a good rough estimate, anyway. (For example: Max 300 is a "15" on the X scale.)
